Our studio is equipped with mats, blocks, bolsters, meditation cushions, blankets, straps and more. There is no charge to use any of these items during your visit.
If you have a favorite mat or props that you’d like to bring with you, please do!
Bring a water bottle (closed-lid, no glass, water only) and maybe a journal if you are attending a workshop, a meditation class, or a sound bath.
-
Wear comfortable clothes that allow your body to move freely. Dressing in layers, with a preference for natural fabrics will allow you to add or remove clothing as your body heats and cools during the different stages of yoga practice.
If you are coming to the studio for a soundbath or meditation where your body will be still much of the time, dress warm and cozy.
We do not allow shoes in the studio. If you would be more comfortable in socks, please bring or wear them.

The softness in this space is very much by design. From the lighting and textiles to the teachers and experiences, everything is intended to soothe your nervous system.
Bright lights, non-natural elements, and the frequencies emitted by electric devices, commercial lighting, and machines can all activate a stress response in the body and the brain.
Our studio rests in the natural light of the season and the time of day. With soft ambient lighting and many other natural elements [concrete, stone, soil, bark, leaves, cork, cotton, rubber], we give your nervous system space to soften, regulate, and reset by reducing sensory load. -

Expiration dates on class credit packs helps keep our pricing accessible. Our class packs have expiration dates to help you make the most of your practice and keep your credits in active use. We offer a range of pack sizes and expiration windows so you can choose what works best for your schedule.
Not sure which option is right for you? Smaller packs are great if you come occasionally, while larger packs offer a lower cost per class if you plan to practice more regularly.

Our studio is a converted 1800 square foot warehouse and is not conducive to hot yoga. The space is kept within a comfortable temperature range.
Sure, there's something about leaving a class drenched in sweat that can make it feel like you really accomplished something. But sweat isn't a measure of how meaningful your practice was.
We even wrote a short article further detailing why we don’t offer hot yoga.
If you tend to run cold, bring your yoga socks and wear layers that you can remove as your body warms up during practice.

Absolutely! You don't need any yoga experience to practice in the studio with us. Our classes include a variety of styles, paces, and experience levels, so there's room to find what works for you.
You don't need to be flexible, know the poses, or have any idea what you're doing before you walk through the door. Take breaks when you need them, ask questions, and make the practice your own.
Not sure which class to try first? Check out our class descriptions or reach out and we'll help you find a good fit.

That’s ok! That, and stress-relief / anxiety management are some of the most common reasons people decide to try yoga.
Our classes (and our teachers) offer options and support to help you develop more flexibility over time.
Check our Class Descriptions page for an overview of the types of classes we offer to see what might work best for your first yoga class.
