Why is there an application process?

Our Wellness Collective is more than just an advertising opportunity or a space to rent for your services - it’s a community. Our goal is to cultivate an environment where wellness is prioritized for both providers and clients, community connections deepen, and small businesses thrive.

The application process allows us to:

  • curate a balanced ecosystem of complementary small businesses and service providers

  • foster professionalism while promoting safety & trust both within the collective and with the community

  • Maintain the Quality & Integrity of the overarching Breathing Room brand

  • Support long-term business growth and Success for all involved

Who is Collective Membership for?

We welcome a wide variety of wellness practitioners and service providers:

  • Bodywork & Healing Practitioners – massage therapists, Reiki practitioners, energy healers, craniosacral therapists, sound healers…

  • Mind-Body Specialists – meditation teachers, breathwork facilitators, mindfulness coaches, hypnotherapists…

  • Holistic Health Professionals – nutritionists, health coaches, Ayurveda specialists, herbalists, wellness consultants…

  • Mental Health Professionals - licensed therapists, counselors, psychologists, social workers…

  • Yoga & Movement Teachers – Yoga, Pilates, barre, dance, Bodybuilding, trauma-informed somatics…

NOTE: Collective Members are independent businesses. You must maintain your own business mailing address, phone number, and client booking and payment processing systems. If your work requires licensure, it must be current and compliant with local regulations. All members of the Collective are required to carry liability insurance.

Breathing Room Collective offers a unique opportunity to host your clients in our beautiful studio in Hillsboro, Oregon - also serving surrounding areas such as Beaverton, Aloha, Forest Grove, and Portland - with the added benefit of growing your business and clientele within a vibrant and thriving heart-centered community.

If your application to join the collective is approved, you’ll have access to:

  • High Visibility – dedicated page with your photo, bio, and services; Approved Flyers and brochures displayed in the studio

  • Small Business support - invitations to Collective-only business development meetings; access to collective-only business resources.

  • Discounted advertising - special newsletter feature rates; opportunity to submit featured newsletter articles.

  • Organic referral network - organic referrals for your services when applicable.

  • Discounted studio rental rates - exclusive hourly, half-day, and full-day rates.

  • Priority Studio Access - priority scheduling for your workshops and special events.

  • Community Connection – build relationships with like-minded practitioners; Option to co-create content with the Breathing Room Collective (videos, blog posts, events).

Benefits of Collective Membership

$200/month (6-month minimum commitment)

+ Collective-only Studio Rental Rates

WEEKDAY Studio Rental

Hourly: $40 (regular rate $50)

Half-day (4 hours): $150 (regular rate $175 / 4 hours)

WEEKEND Studio Rental

Hourly: $55 (regular rate $75)

Half-day (4 hours): $200 (regular rate $275)

Full-Day (8 hours) $400 (regular rate $500)

Discount for long-term studio rental contracts.

NOTE: studio available for rent during non-class hours only.
